If you are ok with buying an older model, Amazon has a good deal on a Studio.

That’s because it’s refurbished.
Depends how much you trust the seller’s talents….. 🤪

Seller is amazon.com. Comments in the slickdeals thread seem to have positive reports.

Someone trusted because now they out of stock. That was fast.
Yeah, that's a deal that's hard to pass up, 722 dollars. For someone who was thinking of a M4 mini, that M2 Max studio would be a compelling alternative for nearly the same price.

When I looked it said 722 but out of stock
That's definitely different from what I've seen. When it's been in stock it's said $899, and when it's been out of stock it's said "Temporarily out of stock" and "we're trying to get more" or whatnot, and didn't show a price.

I really love the devotion to apple that many have in here.

Always trashing anything that dares to take money from poor apple in the form of a good deal.

So for the haters talking nonsense because its refurbished, let me dissapoint you with this news:

They are actually brand new devices in sealed apple boxes.

The joke’s on you because clearly, Apple is liquidating these, most likely due to having a lot of inventory sitting in their warehouses.

Same for their M1 Studios, which were also new devices at the other reseller.

And observing how now the Mac Studio M4 Max is showing with a discount of $400 at their own refurbished store, they might be having the same issue with the new one.

Anyways, its a good time to buy either one of these.

Not sure how you can definitively state this. They could be returns.
I really, truly doubt that amazon has the capability to place “used” Macs in perfectly sealed and untampered boxes with zero distinction from the ones that apple themselves uses.

Plus are they also replacing the highly tamper proof ssds that apple themselves uses?

How do i know these things?

I just got one and i simply cannot find any proof that this thing was ever used before.

Apple is also using this other place to sell brand new Macs and ipads at “discount “ prices in brand new state:

I have no idea if they are actually used or not - just haven't seen anything other than speculation on it.

Yes, these are 2023 M2 Studio (s) new (Apple carton or box unopened), not refurbished. B&H has the M3 Studio, but the M3 costs a lot more than the M2 Studio (s). Some of the M3's cost from $5,000 to $7,000.
