When I was your age...

I used to mow lawns and clean cars (inside and out) as a kid...made plenty but spent foolishly. You just have to go around to neighbors and see if they are interested. If they say "no," you are not better off than before - so don't get discouraged. If they say "yes," be sure to do a better than expected job.

I've heard that a lot of places will hire someone who has worked at McDonalds because you learn a lot there... never worked there (made a promise to myself to never work in the food industry) but I would imagine you could earn some money, and learn some skills.

I always wanted to be a summer camp councillor too

I might want to work at a summer camp, but last summer I stayed at the beach for another week after the fourth of july and I am going to visit California to see my cousin's having the baby and all.
