So that would be what, only the 3rd show ever to come back from cancellation (one being family guy)??
Other shows that came back after being cancelled include Star Trek, Taxi, The Odd Couple, and Baywatch. And there's likely others...

Oh please, Family Guy was good for the first couple seasons, but now it's just a disjointed mess that attempts to shock people with it's 'humour' as opposed to actually telling a story. The show has turned to pure drivel.
Technically it'll be the third time it's returned - it's initial Fox cancellation, the movies that were then split into episodes (it was set to end permanently following that), and now brought back by Comedy Central.

Yes but it wasn't cancelled after 'series 5', they just ended it. So that's 1 cancellation and 1 ending on their accord.
But I can't wait. Love Futurama, and I gotta admit I got a bit teary eyed on the final episode. I really thought that was the end of an era. Time to suck those tears back in I guess.

Sorry...Family Guy is funny, but nothing compared to Futurama. Futurama is genuinely funny while Family Guy relies on random, non-sensical jokes that don't even apply to the plot-line most of the time. Especially post-uncancellation Family Guy -- so many of those episodes are so bad they're almost unwatchable.
Yea, I used to be a fan of Family Guy but I'm on the verge of giving up. I couldn't even sit through the last episode (Quohog's [sp] origins). They were slipping quite badly until that too. When its funny it can really made me laugh, Futurama doesn't make me laugh much but its just really excellent to watch (Red Dwarf is much the same to me).

I don't like Futurama or Family Guy. I just don't know which one I think is more over-rated.
I love surrealist humour. Guess it depends on taste.
