good time to buy an iPod Touch?

I don't know. When will the 64GB version be released? I would hate to buy the 32GB model only to have a 64GB version released sometime in the future.

What do you think, should I buy one today or wait?

Note, the above is purely for comical purposes since it always seems that someone will say the above right after a new product or upgrade has been released.

I missed the boat on the 32 GB touch as well, but my 16 GB was a gift, and I still looove it. Besides, $500 is a bit ridiculous, and I still don't see an "affordable" 32 GB touch coming for several months (probably September, though apple is recently doing a lot of "price cuts" and "updated software for a cost" after a month). Either way, my touch should hold me until I upgrade my RAZR to a 64 GB iPhone, with 3G, and a fully utilized software development kit with microsoft office mobile, with support for word, excel, and outlook (needed for work). The last part may be too wishful, but it would open up the iPhone to the entire business world. I can only imagine the market share of smart phones that apple will have if they make that move.
