good time to buy iPad?

I'm looking to buy an iPad for various reasons but in the past I didn't really find much use for it because it used to be primariy an entertainment device.
I've read some rumors about a pro version of the iPad and was wondering whether there was some validity to this rumor.
I would really love to see a pro version focused on productivity (via keyboard, mouse or perhaps a stylus)

Butt he "Pro" is said to be a larger version rather than one necessarily focused on productivity:

So really, bigger, high rez, and faster. Sounds like you are looking for something more like a Surface?

I don't want to buy a windows machine. Meh.

But yeah perhaps the "pro" will just be a bigger iPad.
