You're right, not in this thread. But it doesn't take much searching to find people whose attitude seems to be that everybody else is nothing until Apple releases some sort of "reference platform" for them to copy. I even remember an article a few months back referencing a Samsung employee who basically said "well, our smart watch is out, but we really don't know what the killer app for this thing is going to be yet", and forum members were quick to construe that as Samsung saying "we're waiting for Apple to release their version so we know what to copy".

I'm obviously not trying to paint everyone with the same brush here. I know not everyone feels this way.
