Nope.... don't "love" Apple... but their products actually work, they don't screw over their customers and they make every thing I do online and on a computer easier, therefore they get my business, as do the companies that make apps for their computers and mobil devices.

Oh yeah, they also seem to have a little respect for my privacy.

Ahh, this old geek dream urban legend. You do know Schmidt recused himself from all meetings involving the iPhone while he was on the board of directors, right?

After all this time, considering how sue happy Jobs was over Android's apparent theft of IP, you think he would've publicly lambasted Schmidt and sued him to kingdom come for abusing his position. Yet ole Jobs never had a bad thing to say about the guy, even before his death.

...and it's not like they'd have to change all that much anyway even after iOS blindsided them. It's all ultimately just another method of interaction.

Android was not a Blackberry clone. Blackberrys were considered untouchable in the enterprise environment.

Andrioid was clearly targeted at Windows Mobile. Google wanted to fight Microsoft Bing in the consumer mobile search arena.

As anyone with smartphone background knows, WinMo came in both touch and non-touch versions, so obviously Android would do so as well.

For their non-touch development, the Android programmers even used a variation of a Windows Mobile phone.

You....are an idiot. Eric/Google BOUGHT ANDROID! Well they did say "We have no shame in stealing at Apple." So, they couldn't really, plus he owned part of the company. He is also a share holder at Google, BS he had anything to do with Android's Slab interface. We could also Argue that Apple copied Microsoft's Tablet. If you want to say android copied, piss off, Apple copied. Search the HP ipaq YES IPAQ, it released over 3 years before the iPhone, and so......TouchScreen goes to HP, so does the name of iPad.
So.....Maybe everyone copied MS and HP. So really? You don't know what you are talking about.
