No, they won't. Passkeys have many adoption hurdles, but this is not one of them. A small percentage of people who fixate on things like password managers and think their fandom of them is important will get confused, but most people won't. If they use an implementation that uses a "password" like this at all, they'll call it a passphrase, a recovery phrase, or a PIN, and most people will acknowledge that using this single thing in one specific scenario is wildly different than having a password for many accounts, and then they'll never think about it again. They won't be concerned that it's also a word you type, and therefore the "replacing passwords" they read on an internet forum was a lie.I get what you are saying, but I assure you if I am confused then most people won't pick up on this technology because they will even be more confused.
