Ha, ha, you spend months hacking, cracking and installing unapproved apps until your phone no longer works and now you refuse to restore your phone to fix it.

Kind of tough to find sympathy....

It has nothing to do with hacking, cracking and installing unapproved apps as you put it. After doing a restore, which I've already tried, it still crashes Safari. And who said anyone was looking for sympathy? I just want Safari to work with Google. I could careless what you "feel" about the issue. Your reading comprehension skills could use some work. I guess the conventional view serves to protect some people from the painful job of thinking

If anyone has some real actual technical ideas or solutions, then we're all ears.

Gotta love a wise ass. It was referring to the OP. Restore the phone as new. If that doesn't solve it then let Apple replace it. Simple.
I'm outa here.....

Have you tried the "Reset All Settings" in the General--> Resets menu?
This seems to fix weird Email and other issues. Couldn't hurt to try. It doesn't delete any data but it only resets things like sounds and fonts.

This is stock iOS brojangles. Try reading before posting. Taking it to apple will solve nothing. If I brought home a new phone it would do the exact same thing because I would load my backup.

The point here is to find a fix without having to restore as new.
