Being as the new Siri is just Gemini running on Apples server, this IS Apples solution.Sounds great, but I don't trust google and it's too expensive. I'll wait on Apple's solution instead.

It's assuming you're a typical person and therefor an idiot and that you shouldn't do it because you'd probably just spill the water.I asked Claude "what if I put a plastic bowl of water on top of my Mac Mini, will it reduce its temperature?" It said "don't do that, you will damage your Mac Mini". Where does anyone see 'Intelligence' here? In reality temperature fell by 7 celcius, because heat transfer from aluminium casing to water is more efficient than air.
It's assuming nothing. it just repeats garbage it has been fed. There is no reasoning. It's like it can't process complex questions. You have to lead it with few more questions/statements for it to get anywhere near a proper answer. It's assuming you're a typical person and therefor an idiot and that you shouldn't do it because you'd probably just spill the water.
in what way? this is a hands-off agent, more openclaw style. So, they are essentially finally catching up with Claude? Or?
Going from iOS to AIOSBefore we know it, we probably won't have a choice in the matter of AI running on our devices. What a sad day that will be!
That sounds... very wrong. Are you measuring the outer temperature of the metal? That's useless. In reality temperature fell by 7 celcius, because heat transfer from aluminium casing to water is more efficient than air.
That's based on sensor data. Your forget air temperature is 40 Celsius. That sounds... very wrong. Are you measuring the outer temperature of the metal? That's useless.
Gemini says by using a highly conductive metal bowl filled with ice water, you might see an internal sensor drop by 0.5 to 1 degree Celsius at best.
While a Mac mini does have an aluminum enclosure, it does not do nearly as much as a passive heat sink. There is no vapor chamber taking heat from the CPU to the enclosure. The mini design relies on just being mostly empty to provide good airflow, even when the active fan is not being very active. Your bowl of water is not doing anything meaningful.
And since the water is colder than that, you get condensation, which will eventually dribble down into your ports and airholes.Your forget air temperature is 40 Celsius.
There was no condensation. The problem is "AI" did not even humour me about basic physics. And since the water is colder than that, you get condensation, which will eventually dribble down into your ports and airholes.
I don’t even trust Apple with my information honestly, no company should have any personal information to get people to use a productAll of this is weirdly being framed in bizarre ways that show “benefit” to users. It’s like people are being trained year after year to freely give up more privacy and just let these companies infest our lives at a more local level at every turn.
Maybe I’m a “conspiracy theorist” but this sounds nuts to allow onto your personal devices… especially Google, but any of them.
Why do you feel that AI strikes you as a Zork interpreter combined with...... etc etc."AI" strikes me as a Zork interpreter combined with an enormous (stolen) database of information, combined with a search algorithm combined with a gnat's brain worth of neural network. It's so frequently and confidently incorrect.
