Shut down Google on environmental grounds and reduce loads more? Corporates should stop lecturing the little people who are barely scraping by at the moment.

huh? at least Google is coming from a pure altruistic POV with suggesting eco friendly routes, unlike Apple who tries to claim that getting rid of the power brick is an environmental move when it's really driven by profit.

Wish I felt the same, but I don't.
Apple looks prettier but is far less functional.
If Google is releasing based on Apple Maps improvements, cool. Improvements I am always up for.
