I've been using Navigon for turn by turn on all my iphones with great success. What's all the hub-bub about Apple maps?

I use TomTom, but it's the same principle. I like TomTom better than Google Navigation. I like it better than Apple maps (iOS 6 beta). And I'll continue using it. It just has so many extra features. I was really hoping Apple wouldn't just mimic the simplistic Google Maps. But they did. :(

There's just something about Navignon that I like. It didn't fail me on my 8 hour drive to Boston. Dead accurate and really helpful when trying to find other destinations along my route.

I use to have android phone and it was great for me.

I sort of use a little bit of everything. I own a Navigon stand-alone GPS, I use Google Maps on my computer, but I use Bing/Nokia maps on my phone. Each has their uses.

I do not use GPS a lot, but as long as it gets me from point A to B with turn by turn voice I do not need any other bells and whistles.

The current one would be great if it had turn by turn, so hopefully that is what the apple one is.

This. All I need is turn-by-turn navigation with spoken directions and I'm good. I don't need street view or flyover or anything else.

Sorry, I'm not going to pay $30-$120 for navigation when I get it free with the OS.

And I use maps every day. Google maps are great, and I think apple maps will be great as well
