How does TomTom work for setting the warning threshold?
Which is why I quoted and asked the person who does use them.TomTom does have speed warnings, but I don't use them.
Android user
For us iPhone people we didnt have free turn by turn voice nav available.
And I rather not stare at google maps while driving.
+1. Why take the buss when you can drive a new BMW? Oh, it costs an arm and a leg, that's why.Not everyone cares to pay between $30-120 for mapping software.
I was commenting on your so-called "android user mentality". If there is a great free option, why pay for it? I bet a lot of iPhone users will drop their third party nav apps if Apple's option in iOS 6 works well. Is it because they are cheap? No. It's because they were given an alternative that works well that they don't have to pay for. That's not a uniquely "Android user" trait, I wouldn't think.

I know but in general when it comes to apps iOS users buy and spend a lot more than android users.
Not just because theres no free options but they like quality apps without advertisements all over the place.
So I'm confused here?
Are you trying to say Android users don't try to brag about having cheaper apps?
Did you even get what he was trying to say?
Which of the mentioned apps uses only GPS or can be set to only use GPS and not data?
I know the built in maps function uses data doesn't it?
There are also fewer add-free apps on Android, in general. For whatever reason Google Play (still think it's a stupid name) has been accepted by devs as an ad revenue place. Give people the option to buy ad free. I bet you will see them take it.
Oh wow that's to much money.
$40 is too much money and you own an iPhone?
