Some apps had done it very quickly, but others need some time apparently. I just hope that this won't turn into App Clips part 2 :)

Yea I’m just confused how one guy can have it ready asap last year and Google took months. And then of course all the big corporations like ESPN and UBER still haven’t done anything and probably never will.

This reminds me of the notch first came out. Some apps recoded near instantly to move the data at the top around it, but Egg Inc took months.

Priorities, I guess. Also Google has appearances to hold up ;)

Didn't Uber make this already? I seldom use it, and haven't since the 14 Pro launch.

I use Google Maps a lot, and it is weird that the iOS App is more stable compared to Android, at least in my experience (I always have a Google based phone for work, currently Pixel 7 Pro)

Google is notorious for being slow to adopt iOS features in their apps.

Yea, the “live activity” doesn’t even work yet, all it does it show a location arrow pointing up in the dynamic jetty.

The image captioned ”Apple Maps turn-by-turn directions in Dynamic Island” is actually from Citymapper.

Waze already supports it but you have to set location settings to only when using app instead of always to make it work oddly.
I’m not so sure about this. A quick search shows no evidence of Waze supporting live activities. And I have all of my apps to to only while using, and it’s not working.
