I find my pixel 8 pro smoother and "snappier" after 17. 16 was a miss on my two Pixels. The 17 update made is much more fluid and a few bugs were fixed as well.

How are you guys feeling about android 17? I'm pretty happy with it. The floating bubbles aren't as well done as Samsung but I'm enjoying them a lot.
