Look at this site, has three Google phones side by side, all 6" displays, and the Pixel 5 looks super small compared to the others.

Pixel 2 XL with 6" display
Nexus 6 with 5.9" display
Pixel 5 with 6" display

Seeing these three nexy to each other, the front display of the Pixel 5 is the future phone I always wanted, all screen and nothing else.
The screen really is lovely. The size of the phone is absolutely perfect for me. Proper one handed use. All screen. Really vibrant colours - and damn the screen goes BRIGHT (although auto brightness is still a bit random!). I never put it over half way. Any higher burns my eyes.

To be honest that is what sold me on the pixel I paid 613 eur for it and I will try to sell the headphones for 150 eur, I'd end up paying 463 eur for it! That versus an iphone 12 128 gb for 925 hz and still havig a 60 hz screen , it sounded like an awful deal to go with the iphone!
I'm going to get the 4a 5G just to sell make some on the headphones. Unless I can still get a decent price for the 5, then I'll keep it for the bigger screen.

Here are the Pixel 4XL and Pixel 4a and Pixel 5

The Pixel 4 XL has a 6.3" screen but looks like the size of a 6.7" phone. It's way too big for that size screen.

Whereas the Pixel 5 looks tiny, because it's all display no bezels, extremely minimal design. But it still has a 6" screen, which is not small. Just a few years ago anything around 5.5" was called a Plus size or huge screen.

The Pixel 5 is lighter as well...

I see BestBuy has the Verizon variant for $600.. FYI for those interested.. I'm sure they charge the upgrade fee but you can usually get that lowered or waived with a call into customer service

Thats their Black Friday deal. Im pretty sure its $200 off in bill credits over a certain period of time.

Even though I'm excited to get my Pixel 5 tomorrow, this has been a lackluster year for phones. But next year could be a big one. Iphones will probably get ProMotion. Google is rumored to be dropping a flagship Pixel 6 (possibly in March according to Weinbach) along with possibly a foldable Pixel in Q4, and the Fold 3 should be another leap forward. Maybe saving money and sticking with the Pixel will help come next fall, lol.

Has someone who is sensitive to OLED flickering (PWM) tested the Pixel 5? I am very interested in this phone, but affraid the OLED will hurt my eyes like the iPhone XS did...

I am thinking of selling my s20 ultra and get that pixel i am crazy?
yes mostly

Too much phone to give up, you have to hate the size of it to really do that.

Only sell if you're not on your phone often (apps and games)

Quick impression it feels lightweight and sort of cheap compared to my Pixel 4XL which definitely has somewhat of a premium feel and deal to it.

Definitely not premium feel like 4XL but a case will help...
I had it side by side with my iPhone 12 and although near similar dimensions the Pixel 5 felt smaller.. feels lightweight.. Screen looked good indoors.. speaker was not that bad just not the quality I like from a phone.. I tested a call and speaker call was okay satisfactory.. I'd wanted to test in noisy area but it was quiet in store..
