DuckDuckGo is the way to go. Screw Google.

And for the ones defending Google saying it shows more relevant results... what are you searching specifically? (fake) news?

DDG gives me better results (more organic). Be it for tech, instructions (how to) and a direct link for a website I'm looking for. I don't remember having to look past the first 5 results.

True. However its results are substandard at best.
I do use it as my default engine but more often than not I need to switch back to Google to do stuff…

I've ran into a couple cases where DuckDuckGo has given me better results than Google.

and they don't inject 12 ads onto each page either.

How much testing do they need to do? I literally switched to duckduckgo for this feature. I'm confused as to why it has taken google so long.

Is there a bookmark or something we can opt into to use dark mode for google desktop search in safari?

And their dark mode looks way better than Google's current implementation.

I try to use DuckDuckGo as much as possible since I do not want to support Google, but I have to admit I almost always switch to Google because their search is just way better :/
same same same.

I guess this is what they mean by 'Going Dark'.. and i thought we were revisiting the SOPA/PIPA act again .... *;

We get it Dark mode is cool.

The Dark Web, where nefarious actors and actions flourish. And Google working on dark mode. Coincidence? I think not.
