Google Voice and iPhone

Out of those who signed up via email for a GV invite, about how long did it take for an invite to come? I'm sure every scenario is different but I signed up a couple of weeks ago and I'm just curious.
 
As far as invites, I think Google is catching up.
I had two email addresses entered. One I entered about 9 months ago and I got the invite for that one about 10 days ago. Then the address I put in about 6 weeks ago I received yesterday.

Cool, a six week wait time doesn't seem too bad.
 
I got the invite last night.

I do not have a major need for another number, I knew this might come in handy so-- I set it up. (pretty easy)

I like that I have another number to use as a business number, or to simply give to people that I do not want to have full access.

Also the transcription is great.
 
There is a free version of GV Mobile. The cool thing is that you can call out from your iphone through Google Voice and your GV # will show up in the recipient's caller id instead of your ATT #.
 
GV mobile is another good one, I actually have both GV mobile and voicecentral. I find voicecentral more reliable however. :)
 
I just got my Google Voice invite and signed up. It's really cool so far. Not sure about the text message question about cause I'm still playing with it.
 
is anybody not getting their profanity texted to your iphone?

It seems to be filtering for me lol

like the words "f___" and even "sexy"
 
Does anyone know if there are settings for how long a text will be left on the google server before it's sent to your phone as a text? I'm having a conversation from my computer but every few texts still come to my phone. Not sure if it's due to how long it takes me to check on the computer or what.
 
I registered for an invite to GV about 2 weeks ago and received an invite a couple days ago. I used my gmail address, I think that made a difference. I signed up for one with a different email (yahoo) almost a month ago and haven't got an invite from that one yet. I had signed up to get one for me and my husband.

Yes the profanity is blocked out-- because I was trying it out, and let my husband leave a message and the bad words blocked out.
 
I want an invite. D:
I didn't know they were taking sign ups. I thought I did a long time ago but I guess I didn't and just did it again today. So hopefully I get it soon. I have a lot of use for this. Cause we all have nights when we give out numbers to people we shouldn't. ;)
 
Reviving a dead thread

Anybody having problems with version 1.0.3. I can not logon to save my life.


1.0.3 keeps returning "cannot connect to google voice" error



HELP....
