Hey I got positive feedback already! Hard to believe a scammer would do that!

I wouldn't be too worried. I mean, as long as you qualify for buyer protection it's all good. It may be a slow process but thats fine. My only worry would be if you will still have apple warranty and if you can still get apple care on it.

Apple warranty lasts a year, how could it not have any?

I just put in my purchase date of yesterday and it took it, no uploading of documents needed. They would have to cover it regardless from the release date anyway but looks like it is good to go.

He might have a way out if its just a 15" MBP and not a rMBP

whats included in the auction
Macbook pro 15 '' in its original box

It is near impossible to win as a seller in a paypal/ebay buyer dispute. I could say that there was a cookie crumb on the keyboard and they would side with me and allow me to send it back even if there was no returns allowed. I've sold many many high price items on ebay and it is ridiculously skewed in favor of the buyer.

I hope you're right..

I just looked through the whole thing to see if he had anything posted odd..

Because some companies will not honor warranty unless you bought from an authorized seller.

The slang english and poor grammar are enough to send me running

That was the first thing that caught my eye also. You'd think that a seller with that many ratings would take greater pride and care with his listings. Curious to see how this one plays out.

I think you will be fine. Im guessing it might have a few dead pixels or some minor issue. Get applecare and fix it if need be.

Hey it looks semi-legit, I hope it works out for you. It's possible the guy's a pawn broker or took it in trade for something, or maybe doesn't know what it's worth. Or that it's stolen.

Stolen merchandise on eBay?

What's next serial killers on Craigslist?

Came today in perfect condition!

Wooo hoo!
