You mean thick? Well it's like 0,2mm thicker than the 7 so i dunno if it's thick. And did the speaker really suck on the 7?? Anyway it suppose to be better on the 8. But I guess it will still suck for you.

I guess you could ask that question on many occasions we congratulate someone.
Why does a person need / get congratulations for buying a lottery ticket and receiving a winning piece of paper?
Why does a person need / get congratulations on a wedding for buying a $25,000 party for a piece of paper and a ring?
Why does a person need / get congratulations when their team wins a Super Bowl / World Series/ etc. when they weren’t on the field playing?
The guy is one of the very first to get his iPhone, this almost never happens, and it’s giving him a good feeling. Why does a person need / get the need or desire throw a rain cloud on someone’s parade when they are feeling good?
Perhaps you say congratulations when your happy for someone?

its black. 8 has an aluminium frame anodised as the years before. just the X has stainless steel.
Nice! I also am waiting for a space grey 8 Plus. The first thing I'd like to know is how "grippy" it is. My 7+ is like a wet bar of soap. I have to keep it in a rubber case to keep from dropping it or losing my grip on it all the time.
There's actually quite a few reasons. True tone display, better speakers, much improved camera, faster CPU/GPU, bluetooth 5, wireless charging, etc. And the fact that i'm making payments on the phone and may as well have a new phone if i'm going to do that.
The X is ridiculously priced and aside from OLED and image stabilization on the telephoto lens and a goofy notch it is an iphone 8.
