Got my refurb Mac Pro, came with a few upgrades!!!

Why rough day?

A young lad like you should be happy.. partying, and being with girls.. when I was your age I was a party animal.. Most Ukrainians and Russians tend to party very heavily into the late night to early morning..

I am sure the same applies to you also. No reason to be upset. Ok, I admit it was kind of off the wall, but I didn't know.. so, live with that. Now, tell me.. are you all caught up yet with your purchasing of your college books as of yet? Also, are you going to be living on campus?

Going to a festival in two days, lots of partying planned. It's great and all that, but I have much to keep me stressed, finding a place to live, pick out furniture, make sure money is enough, selling my mac pro, preparing for studies. I admit I may have misused my caps lock :) I just really hate when people are completely off track and making new posts instead of using edit :rolleyes: Sorry, didnt mean to be rude. The new rom revision is not a call for concern.

If you can show me or tell me exactly where it is, I can start using it.

Well, as far as a place to live, I assume you will be rooming with roommates on campus or off campus. This is great as you don't have to put up with siblings or parents telling you what to do :)

As I said, college life is cool! You meet new people and join many orgs and have fun, though you are there to get a degree in something and make use of it to plan out your working career. If I could do it all over again, I would go back to campus life. I was in a Fraternity on campus and was a Pledge master.. Boy, was that ever fun!

Good luck selling your mac pro.. where is it at anyway? Ebay?

were kids, college students and whatnot.. I didn't expect to see people in their 50's or 60's on such sites though.. Now, I feel like a kid again..

as I have.. except mine is the 2.66 which now it is the 3.33 thanks to my purchasing the w3580 for less than 600..

Somewhere buried DEEP in the "Race to DUmp the 4870 ROM" thread there is some discussion of the 2 different 4870 EFI portions. We did some preliminary testing using it instead of original and it seemed to cause more problems than it solved. (didn't solve any actually)

However, we WERE testing in Leopard I think.

Wonder if any of the weird 4870/90 behavior starting in 10.6.3 could be affected by using the other EFI? Anyone feel like testing?
