My friend has a Speck Candyshell. He seems to love it. Never heard of the 2nd choice.

my advice: dont take the phone out of the case. I got my red and white one, and it was fantastic for about 2 weeks. around the middle of the third week, i noticed that the strip along the bottom had cracked.

Um.....my only problem with your advice is that it that once I got my 3GS in there I never took it out and the same thing happened to me. Snapped in two places on the bottom, in addition to the rubber have partially worn away down there. That and the color bleeding on the rubber (black and yellow, except the yellow is now blue tinted from my jeans) has really kinda dampened my joy of this case. Gonna talk to Spec and see if I can get a replacement, but I'm also going to be looking for something else.

Mine came today, and I had an unfortunate bout with it. I like the case part well enough, but the screen protector has issues.

The "microfibre" cloth sucks. It left little orange lint all over the phone due to the way they cut it (no serged edges). Tiny orange particles were at the edges, and they got picked up by the adhesive. They also did not include a squeegee as the reviews showed.

I now have about 15 bubbles with tiny orange "specks" in them. trying to get them out of there made it worse. I called and the person told me to email customer service. I got an email reply from customer service telling me to expect a call. Grr!

Its a great case!

BUT CANADIAN BUYERS BE AWARE!!!!!

Speck ships with Fedex and after about 2-3weeks of having my case i just received another invoice in my mail from Fedex for another 19$ charge for their "broker" fees..

So this case at the end costed me 51$... The fact that fedex does this dirty s*** of a move sucks! The total custom fees was like 2$ but the broker fee was another 17$.
