My brother only has 2 GB of data which I feel bad, I also have account adminstrator privilages on my account, you think I could call Verizon and see if they will bump my brothers line to 3 GB of data from 2 GB? I been a Verizon customer for a long time now (over a decade) so

You certainly don't have much to lose by calling them to find out what they might have to offer.

So I just got an email for this "Thanksgetting" event.

1GB Free data (don't know how long it lasts/what requirements are). FYI, I have the 12GB shared plan.

Some other free **** like $5 iTunes credit and stuff.

I believe it's 2 billing periods. I did it for my mom's new phone and it's good until Jan (so 2 billing periods for her).

Is that being advertised anywhere? Perhaps some page on Verizon's web site?

Edit: Looks like it's advertised quite heavily on their web site: https://www.verizonwireless.com/thanksgetting/

I also took advantage of this offer.

The extra GB is for this billing cycle and another extra GB is given for the next billing cycle.
Where does it mention that it will be for the next one as well? I remember last year it was like that, but this year I only see the current billing cycle being mentioned.

In all of the ads and promotions that I saw it says this month and next.

You are right, it's there on the splash page, must have overlooked that there since it seems various subsequent pages and fine print don't seem to mention the next billing cycle (unless I somehow missed it there, although I was keeping an eye out for it once I was actually signing up).
