iPhone 11 Pro Max Gotta be honest: in hand, 11 PM > 12 PM

I went from the 11 pm to the 12 pm
kinda regret it
11 had better battery, not even close
12 has been dimming outside, even though it shows full brightness
after a few mins, it will actually reflect full brightness

Hopefully Apple will fix the mistakes they made in the 12PM with the 12S/13. One thing I would love to see is Apple simply put bigger and bigger batteries in the Pro Max phones the way they did in the 11PM.
Hoping they have minimum 4300mAh in the upcoming Pro Max.

It sounds like the new phone will have a bigger battery, but I suspect Pro Motion will eat most of that new capacity, leaving us in about the same place.

Oh yes this is my other concern! I hope we can adjust ProMotion to about 90Hz rather than 120Hz. My Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a 4400mAh battery with 6.8inch 90Hz screen and it’s battery life is phenomenal, I think it can actually outlast my 11 Pro Max if I pushed them similarly. I don’t think we need the full 120Hz on the iPhone, as long as the touch rate is high enough.

I said this since the release of the 12. Flat edges looks good, but its totally uncomfortable in hand for big devices like this one and the iPad pro as well. The 11' inch iPad pro isn't as confortable in long session as my iPad Air 3 with rounded edges. The flat design was perfect for the iPhone 5 Era but for today standards, Apple just chose aesthetics over usability.

Just because of that, I'll probably still keeping my XS Max until Apple change the design again.

Not using iCloud Photo Library and the issue is solved. Any other cloud provider in the US however will have something similar cooking I guess.

I beg to differ but I guess it depends a tiny bit on the geo you’re in and on the effort you have to make.

I fully agree that the 11P (and XS and X) feel better in the hand than the 12P. I don’t feel this way about the aluminum 12, but the stainless steel naked does make my hands uncomfortable after an extended period of use in way the curved steel didn’t.

That being said, I think actually using the 12P is so much nicer than the 11P overall. The display being completely flush with the body just makes interacting with the display feel different. I can’t explain why, but it does.

Totally understand. Something about the rounded edges just makes the phone much more comfortable and smaller-feeling for me.

I also forgot the 12PM screen is a little bigger.
