Man that's sucks. But if you want to sell it, I'll take it off your hands. My cousin has been salivating after it.

I'm going to look into lucky labs or something to protect the phone some more.

i'm so confused.. i paid for faster shipping (priority) and i figured it would be closer to me by now. i just don't get why mine is the only one shipping from MD or if thats an error?

I feel like you might have gotten the wrong shipping confirmation number? Maybe that's either mine or zelaya because Gaithersburg is a 10 minute drive for me! Yikes!

How about a very small (square) piece of scotch tape cut to fit? You are saying the area where the metal clasp fits into the frame of the case touches the metal antenna?

I'm talking about the metal piece that is in between the power button and head phone jack. I'm thinking about returning this case for that reason. The creators did not think of about protecting the metal bad when putting on the case.

Damn those negative reviews are killing my excitement to get this case. Just surprise GadgetMac has not mentioned any of these issues in their review.
 
I just got my shipping notification and the negative reviews are bumming me out too! I was hoping this would be "the one".

It's funny you mentioned that "beserious" because my status in usps has not move all day. Oh well....I guess I've to wait.

I took the case off and took a look where the latch meets the metal band, and I will say there's a very very very faint line there now. I wouldn't call it a "scratch" but it's not perfection.

The question is, does the line get there from just sitting on the case (meaning compression will make it worse) or when you latch the case? Time will tell.

Relax, I've taken mine off numerous times without a single mark nor scratch. There is no metal to metal contact unless you stick in the locking latch too far down. You shouldn't stick in the end of the latch all the way in to close down the lever, just enough to catch the opposite side of the case and then close down the lever :)

I am seriously considering add the Trunket plate to use with my Leverage. Oh boy, spending too much money in toys. :rolleyes:

Yep, more of a line is what I'd have to call it.

Still a nice case, but not for me.
 
I just received the case, white/matte. It looks and fits great. Just have to be careful not to scratch it with the latch during installation.
 
Received mine as well. Case is awesome and everything I hoped it would be. Probably the best case I've used. Fitment and quality are phenomenal. Only caveat is it doesn't seem to play well with my matte side wraps from phantom skins. Other than that it's great. :D
 
Tracking says my case will be here tomorrow!....Can't wait!....A little bummed out over the negitive comments.....Will just have to wait and judge it myself!.....:apple:
 
Does anyone that has the case have any issues with it screwing up the front screen protector? I just received my PS Crystal films today and I just got the shipping notice for the case today and want to make sure I'm not wasting a screen protector. I have an Steinheil from SGP on right now.

I'm testing this with my old iPhone 4 first. I think I am going to put a small piece of a bestskinsever side along the top where the latch does kinda touch the metal if you are not extra careful and see how that works. Also, it is much easier to put the back in if you don't have a shield on the back. With the shield it was tough.
 
Little piece of a bestskinsever side along the top works perfectly. For those anal types like me, if you have any screen protector just cut a small piece and apply it centered on the top of your iPhone. Case closes fine. Very nice case.
 
I got my case today too. White with chrome latch. It was also a PITA for me to get the back to align properly. Also the latch does not sit flush when I close it. The end your pry up sticks up a little bit from the bumper part of the case. :(

I have an SGP screen protector and thats it. Also I have to push down quite hard for the sleep button.

EDIT:

Okay, after some caressing and aligning I got it to sit properly and flush.

Hmm so mine is arriving on thursday... Officially shipped out today... I guess they didnt really ship these out on friday when i got my notification....
