I was asked by a few if skins like the Trunket fit the Leverage. Perfect fit :) Black would go very nicely.
beautiful. i was going with a cheaper alternative (i.e. Case-Mate Barely There), but it looks like i'm dropping a bit more coin thanks to this thread.

were you able to fit the Trunket front plates on this as well?

Had the case for a few days now, and here are my thoughts.

I have the "scratch" or polishing effect at the top latch part as well. A bit annoying, but sounds like many bumper cases have this effect and it is not visible while the case is on. Still, not something I would expect given the amount of engineering that clearly went into the design.

The volume buttons are bit difficult to press as compared to the Apple OEM bumper which is a bit annoying especially now that you can use the volume button to take pictures. In response to one of the comments above, the antenna band is likely visible because the placement of the buttons are a bit higher on the original AT&T iPhone 4 and this allows universal fitment. I'd rather they move it though and also have something to make the buttons easier to press like what they do with the power button and what the Apple bumper case does there.

It is definitely slightly larger than the OEM bumper which is more curved than boxy. The material is different as well as it has a more plastic feel than rubbery feel.

The cutout at the bottom as others have mentioned will definitely cause issues with some connectors. In my car, the cable doesn't stay secure.

The lever is definitely secure when latched in. I posted these pictures on their facebook page.

Overall, I still like the case despite these flaws.

Nice watch. I'm leaning on a Breitling for x-mas.

Got mine a couple of hours ago (sorry the pictures are a little big.. kind of pressed with time):

Relax, I've taken mine off numerous times without a single mark nor scratch. There is no metal to metal contact unless you stick in the locking latch too far down. You shouldn't stick in the end of the latch all the way in to close down the lever, just enough to catch the opposite side of the case and then close down the lever :)

Is this why many people have reported band polishing?

Seems to be the root of the issue, yes. I can say confidently that I am careful not to let the latch go unnecessarily far down in order to latch. I carefully lower mine and close it as soon as I notice it catches enough to close the case, yet it still resulted in some scuffs. Maybe my case varies a bit from SchneiderMan's, who knows

Same here. Also, the other thing to note is that this scuff happened to me after only latching on once. I wasn't latching and removing it multiple times.

Awesome pix with your Panerai. Sounds like we have a few 4/4s members with Panerai's. Ordered my Blk/Matte case for my 4s earlier this week with my Pam 164 in mind as an obvious compliment to the Graft Leverage.

My case did the same exact thing, kinda odd that none of the reviewers ever hinted at this even though when i first saw the case i thought this may be a problem. Lo and behold it was.

finally got mine.. it shipped from california, to maryland, to my house in texas... so weird.

but it fits great, feels awesome in my hand and i put a tiny piece of clear packing tape under the lever to prevent scuffing and it seemed to work fine.

i don't like how it looks without the backplate, so ill definitely be using it.

Can someone refresh my memory on this...was the white leverage bumper itself as white as the back that came with it? I can't remember and can't quite tell from the other pics on here.

I took this pic of the bumper color compared to the back. Did it come like this or is it an effect of having it in my pocket all day? Refresh my memory please!

My white bumper was originally as white as the white backplate that came with it. I've noticed in just my few short days of using it, because of the "soft touch" finish on the bumper (and the backplate) that the white tends to discolor/get dirty very quickly. I've been using my white Graft bumper with the black backplate, and already my white bumper has a very "beige" look when compared side by side with the still new (never used) white backplate. In hindsight, the white colored Graft bumpers (and backplates) should have probably been a glossy finish, as the white soft touch finish is going to probably be bad about holding dirt/skin oils. I've seen this with many white soft touch cases I've tried/tested over the past few years.

wow- so sorry for the people that got those scratches. I almost thought this was THE case. This was the only case I was even remotely interested in and it has disappointed just like the rest- and for 60 bucks! I'm sure now that I'm just going with skins and no screen protector. I'm now convinced that any case will scratch so you might as well enjoy the device as is.

Argh...don't tell me that. I am supposed to finally get my white one tomorrow. Now I wish I had ordered the black one instead. I may have to return mine if this will be the case.

Wow that is too bad... But that does explain why there are little/no white soft touch cases out there.

Figured I'd chime in...

For those of us who have a scratch from the case... Graft is working on a fix for the case... so hang in there.

Mine is supposed to arrive tomorrow. Are we sure that a piece of tape will protect this from happening? I want to know for sure before I open the box.

I am also wondering how the reviewers missed this. Maybe they didn't have it on the phone long enough for it to happen?

I'm surprised this wasn't caught during testing.

The tape worked fine for me for the time being... a few others posted as well stating that it worked. Don't know how it couldn't, the metal of the hook / lip can't touch the aluminum band now.

Honestly, I think it was missed simply because it's such a small scratch and barely noticeable. Not to mention, I was so careful putting this on for the first time that I really don't even see how the metal latch could have come into contact with the phone, but it did - the first time... so I'm guessing it was never even thought about.

Yeah. One of my favorite cases is the Proof Cases Duo, and their white version was soft touch. Same thing (turning beige/yellow/dingy) happened to it after a couple of weeks. White needs to be a glossy finish so it can be cleaned easily.

Have you try Mr. Clean eraser....it does wonders sometimes. let us know what you ended up doing.

Can you guys post a picture of the actual scratches.

I tries a magic eraser when I got home and it didn't take it off. I'll try hairspray or nail remover when I get home in the morning.

Thanks for the help.
