Question. I already have a SGP full body protector on my iPhone. Do I still need the backplate? If I get the backplate, will it fit if I already have a protector on the back?

Backplate comes with purchase. I also have a protector on back so I just don't use backplate. I like the look and feel of the bumper without backplate.

I had a hard time trying to put the backplate in with the protector on. When I took off the protector it fit in easily.

I don't know how thin your back skin is but I had to remove my power support crystal clear to install the back panel which I like it. Now I only clean the front screen. I hate fingerprint. Unfortunately with the back protector you can't switch very often not unless you want to sacrifice having the back un protected.

I haven't used the SGP but I had one of those "true carbon" backs from Atomic on my phone and couldn't get the back on while the carbon was still on. Case itself fit just fine, just not if I wanted the back piece as well.

Purchaced Bose MIE2i buds this week. The jack fits but is EXTREMELY tight. If the hole was ANY smaller what so ever it wouldn't fit at all.
BTW....I love the Bose buds!.....

Since I can't find a single bumper that I like where a Trunket backplate is protected other than the Leverage, I picked up a Case Mate Barely There case until Graft resolves the chipping issue

of course, this means i'm not applying the Trunket until then either...

I emailed Graft about a possible new case with the latch issue being fixed and asking if they would swap the current ones.
Here is their reply:

So, I guess the only thing we can get at this point is a small sticker. The 50% is a nice but they should give that to current case owners issuing them a $30 refund. Not sure I will buy something from them in the future. We'll see.

my question is, if you already have the old case and the scratch there, why not just keep it on (assuming the scratch does not get worse)? i'd like a new case that doesn't scratch, but at this point i already have the scratch.

yea...begging doesnt help anybody get anywhere. If you cant afford this case then you probably should have never bought the phone.

I understand your point, what I am not sure is if the latch will keep making things worse down the road every time you open and close it. That's why, I was wondering if they could swap at some point the defective cases for new ones that will not create more scuffs.
The tape solution seems kind of lame and 50% off is nice but people now might think twice before purchasing a new product from them.
So, that should have been applied to current owners imo.

Just to be clear, the problem is not with opening and closing the latch. The metal touches the top of the metal band on the iPhone when it is closed.

Ok heres the deal A: im not begging I'm simply asking if anyone has a coupon that would otherwise go to waste, I would greatly appreciate it and be most grateful if someone had one and contacted me with it.

B: I could and did afford an iPhone when they first came out, but my life circumstances have changed and if I were buying it from scratch then I probably wouldn't be able to get one now. But luckily they have great resale and I sold my previous to cover the cost of my new iPhone. Unfortunately I sold my previous case along with it and thus I'm in need of a new one.

So I just emailed them asking if they're still going to make me pay for the return shipping fee considering the case damaged my phone. I don't see how that makes sense but we'll see what they say. Anyone else email them regarding this?

Hey guys, got my white/matte case and beveled aluminum back a while back but havent been able to take photos of it till now. So far i really like the combo of the beveled back and the graft case. the bevel fills the gap for the back plate very nicely. been using it for a couple weeks now and ive had no issues with the lever damage cause i put a tiny piece of tape on the top bar and no issues with the camera and flash. Check out the pictures. (dont mind me...just hanging out in my office)

...and here it is without the case.
