Win Like the Wind with your Zonda R and you'll get the Minolta Toyota Race Car. Once you have that you can win everything except the *** race.

I actually used my fully-tuned Furai for the Indy track in LtW and my Zonda R for the Daytona track. Max out the specs, max downforce on the back and half on the front, just a little bit of negative camber and you are set. Drive carefully as the Zonda gets a little jumpy as you exit turns, but you'll make it all up in the straights.

Good call. You can also add an RM mod to a corvette ZR1, tune the engine and you have a 905 hp monster. You can run Indy wide open and make the five lap indy race in 3:40

The ZRM is a waste of money unless you plan on using it for the Historic Cup as well, which is very difficult to win with it. Its just too heavy at 1100kg. I'm waiting until i can run the Indy 500 and get the XJ13 to use in the historic cup. You can also get a GT40 for the B-Spec Indy 500, which i can't wait to own. I love that car so much.

I just used my Furai on the Indy track for lulz, i didnt bother tuning it or anything, just standard settings. It took a little blocking on the straights, but i gained about 2 seconds on each set of turns.

The Furai and Zonda R are the best cost-effective way of tackling that series.

I was really watching my budget while i saved for the ***. I got it and spent all of my left over cash to get the penniless trophy. I havent taken the *** out on the track yet because i want to rebuild the engine/chassis first. I'll be spending a lot of time in B-Spec earning that cash.

thanks for the tips. the online lot cycled the day after i made my post, so that's not too bad. ive been grinding a lot in bspec-- might as well, i don't want to have to race that much myself. ive been cycling the used lot a lot doing the license tests. i really despise the lic ense tests, i think theyre mostly a waste of time. i unlocked the endurance, looks like some fun stuff there. there's some prize car lists online ive been referencing so i dont waste $ buying a car i can win

ive got my eyes on the peugeot 905, but it never freaking comes up

edit: well just as i posted this the R92CP came up in the lot. def dont have enough $ for this but ill see if it's possible with some car sales :(

Got this for Christmas loving it orderd a racing wheel I got the logitech Force feedback lap style since i really dont have that much room or space for some place to latch it some where. Has any one unluck the Top gear track yet this track is torture;)

Finally got my Wheel Stand!!

My Fiance's dad is a Custom Carpenter by trade specializing in cabinets and furniture, so he built me one for a Christmas present.

He said it took him about an hour. It folds in and out, and is adjustable to height and distance.

^That looks great. I use a regular serving tray with legs with my Driving Force GT...it shakes from time to time but it gets the job done.

I still can't get the hang of those Ferrari(any model) no matter the setting I use with my Driving Force GT...I end up sliding all over the place and losing control of the car.

Whats the best settings for premium/fast as hell cars for racing wheels?

Bless

Light on the throttle unless you are going perfectly straight!!

It's easy to get used to hammering the throttle the second you hit the apex in the FF or street cars but you just can't do it in Super or Racing Cars. They really have to be nursed. Some Sweepers you may even shift gears whithout ever going full throttle.

Something that helps me is if you start to slip, shift into a higher gear. It will drop the revs and get your rear back in control...

As predicted, I'm FULLY bored with the racing part of GT5, but the Photo Mode is just A-MAZ-ING!!!! The lighting engine in this game is a technical marvel.

With most of the race cars you really have to nurse the throttle as you said, with a Ferrari the rear end really shouldnt slide out all that fast.

@2NY
If you have upgraded it make sure to get the Limited slip differential, from there you can counter the acceleration torque as well as braking torque (this one usually is what you need to adjust on Ferrari/Lambo) and acceleration. Honestly the LSD is a must purchase for most high speed cars, just tune it to how you drive.

A wheel setup is a must with this game, I really can't see how you can control the higher horsepowered cars with a controller.

BTW 2NY, ill race you anytime ;-) prepare for a beat down though....
