Gray Shaded Bar in iOS12 YouTube App

Is anyone else experiencing the transparent gray bar at the top of the YouTube app on an iPhone X? At first I thought a YouTuber had accidentally repositioned their adjustment layer but now I see it's showing up on all videos in portrait or landscape orientation.

Turn it to the other side

Didn't matter how I turned the phone- it was there in all orientations. After opening and force closing the app a few times it eventually went away.

You have to turn it 180 degree and then wait it will go away
