I may just have to give this case a shot. I like the look of it and if it's good with the flash then it may very way be a winner.

I should also note that this case also helps with the Magical(TM) dropping bars!

Sitting in my office with 5 full bars, I can get the phone to drop to 1 with no case. Put this case on and I can't get it to drop any.

 anyone? thinking about getting Steinheil Ultra Series Oleophobic but don't want to order if they're gonna be too big (site says it'll work with a bumper but that's all it mentions)

love the zagg. rumor has it they use these on military helicopter rotors. Saw this from the patrick norton/kevin rose days on tekzilla. Blows all the other stick on protectors to shame.

I have a cheapo screen protector on mine (with the Zagg on the back). I think because of the design of this case, since it wraps around to the front of the screen, you might find some screen protectors will bubble up a little. Mine bubbles up on one corner because the case is pushing against it.

Damages the back of the iPhone

Watch out for this case. I registered on MacRumors just to post this:). I had this case on for two weeks, noticed the major problems with hazing the flash on low light pictures, and had it pull up my skinomi skin, so I returned it. After that I applied a rear skinomi skin, but I saw that it had the same design as the diamonds.

So I took off the skinomi skin, which also distorted my pictures surprisingly, and noticed that the rocketfish case had left the diamonds permanently on the back of my phone.

It is really odd. I can wipe them away with my microfiber cloth, but then when you touch them again, they reappear. They are very faint, and you have to look for them like you look for scratches, but they are there, and they are there to stay it seems.

So I went in to apple. they said it was just dust and dirt that was constantly being pushed into the screen. They said it wasn't their prob, but BestBuy's. So I was about to return it to AT&T and tell them it wasn't durable enough since it is really BestBuy and Apple's problem. Then I would get a white one when they came out. However, I went to my BestBuy first and after a half an hour of them trying to figure out what to do, they told me to try at Apple one more time, otherwise they would replace my phone.

So, I am very disappointed with the Rocketfish product, disappointed with Apple, but very pleased with BestBuy's service.

I'd return your cases for this, and see what BestBuy can do for you. The smudges are small, and I don't know if it really is scratching or if the phone absorbed the oil from the gel or something, but if you are anal about your phone it kinda sucks.

I realize this is an older post, but I wanted to comment on the previous post. I too am having the exact same problem with mine and my wife's phone.

We bought these Rocketfish gel cases in the smoke color when the iPhone 4 first came out. Not because we particularly like how they looked, but simply because there wasn't much else out there that seemed worth the money yet. Still we needed a case to hold us over and BB had these things for 15 bucks, so we grabbed a pair.

After about 2-3 weeks of use however, I noticed the same criss-cross pattern on the back of both of our phones. No amount of rubbing, or buffing, or even glass cleaner will get the marks off. Just like the prior poster said, they appear to go away, but then the come right back as soon as you blow hot breath onto the phone.

Very, very annoying and I'd highly recommend staying away from this case if you can. :(

Apple iPhone top of my list of aircraft aluminum metal case. It comes complete with a padded neoprene interior and a high-grade aluminum shell iPhone encloses. Only a small lip bumper with his 4 iPhone includes the outer rim. Front or back protection for you when you have a completely flat surface to keep your 4 iPhone will get a little bit.
