Great, Ordered 6/10 and not getting it tomorrow!

I ordered for home delivery back on 6/10. Just called FedEx, they told me that Apple called and set up the shipping label stuff, but never ordered a pickup, so there's no way I'm getting an iPhone tomorrow. I'm leaving for a trip on Saturday.. Thanks apple, good stuff!

Anyone else in the same boat?

Great, definitely not getting an iphone until next week.

They told me on the phone that the phones are being held at the local facilities. There are two local FedEx facilities within my area, so chances are one of them has my phone.

I'm not going to worry, since I'm on the west coast it might be coming from a closer facility than those coming from Memphis, TN.
 
That must suck not getting your phone till next week.... I ordered mine Tuesday night and even for me they overnighted my phone fedex this morning.

If you are on the west coast, itll most likely come from Elk Grove, CA.
 
In comparison to the rest of the population in the market for an iphone, alot of people did not know what the wwdc is/was . The fact that we knew and ordered the iphone the day of wwdc anouncement is a priveledge we deserve for staying in the know.
 
I think I am. I've been waiting all day waiting for a tracking number and it never came. Waiting on the phone for an Apple representative now.
 
my rep said that he's supposed to say it will be here tomorrow but he knows what happened with our orders and that he's 99% sure they won't be here tomorrow. He said to call in tomorrow and get some compensation for it if it's not here.
 
Im prayin' ATT doesnt sell mine to somebody BEFORE I get there.

Basically, I hope the post-it note thats stuck to the side of my phone with my name on it, scribbled in pencil, doesnt fall off, on the pile of twenty or so, on the floor.

At least he was honest..... I have found Apple Reps to be pretty cool.... M$.... not so much.
 
I wonder what kind of compensation they would give us if it didn't come in tomorrow..
 
best buy was doing pre sells, not a lot of people knew they will actually put it on hold for your for $50.00. I think that's decent to pay instead of waiting in lines or worrying about it being sold it.

Does that $50 go towards the price of the phone or are you paying for a place in line?
 
Well my experience was a bit different. Guy told me it hadn't shipped yet but it was assured to get here tomorrow. Must be a new teleportation system that Apple is working on cause that's the only way I see it happening.

Couldn't even cancel it and go wait at the store. Guess I learned my lesson about ordering online.
