Great, Ordered 6/10 and not getting it tomorrow!

My phone still says import scan in hong kong but a delivery of 6/19/09 on time- in transit. hoping for the best.
 
I'm in the same boat. I'm 45min from Sac and I still show "shipment information sent.......". Has since 8am this morning. I took the day off and everything just so I could sign for it. There is going to be a nasty phone call in the morning if nothing changes.

Mine just changed to "In Transit" from Ontario, CA. I am in San Francisco, CA. Yours probably is going to be changing soon too.
 
Also, I'm showing that this was scanned at 4:30PM Pacific. Not unusual for FedEx to take a while to update their info. And again, the FedEx reps only know as much as their computer monitor tells them.

So for all you worriers, get some sleep. You'll need it b/c you'll be playing with your iPhone all day!
 
That's what I'm thinking. I figure they must have a BUNCH sitting here in Cali waiting to start fanning out to local hubs. I would guess Fedex just picked them up by the pallet full.

Where all does Apple ship from?
 
I ordered on the 10th but it wasn't processed until the 11th. My status finally changed to ship today and about 8 hours later, my credit card was billed. However, most threads have been about FedEX or UPS, my package is being shipping USPS.

I didn't recall seeing an overnight option for shipping so I have no idea how its been shipped since my tracking number has not been updated all day. However, most premier customers are receiving 2 day air and are expected to receive it by monday. USPS on the other hand is open on saturday's so I may luck out.
 
I'm in the same scenario you guys are in.. it just says shipment info sent to FedEx.

Now, I could have sworn that when I ordered my MBP a few years back, I had the same thing happen to me, yet I still got it the next day. I could see how they're picking up a ton of stuff from Apple, and they just didn't scan every single box. Maybe it's just wishful thinking, but I want my damn 3G S tomorrow. :|

Let's see what tomorrow holds.
 
Last year I was all set to line up on release day and I had to go work a wildland fire for 4 days. I had to hunt and scrounge and drive 2 hrs just to get one a week later. This is nothing compared to that pain in the butt
 
Just jumped on Boxho.com and put in my tracking info. Sure enough it has been scanned in Ontario, Ca three times since noon today. Looks like it's on a plane as we speak.

Way to go FedEx. Your system sucks!!!!!

11:57 Edit: FedEx JUST got with the times and everything is updated.
 
I don't know why everyone with a box in a carrier's hands is freaking out. If the carrier has it, it should get there. I would kill to know FedEx had my phone in their system.
 
You dont know where yours is?? I was tripping since it never showed a scan at a facility.
 
I'm in the same boat as you guys. My status still says "shipment information sent to Fedex." It has been this way since 8:59am this morning. What the hell is going on? Boxoh.com says that scan information is not available. Maybe there is a box that's missing. I don't think I'll be able to sleep.

This is pissing me off! If I don't get my iPhone today, I will make someone at Apple cry and regret the day they were born! I ordered right after the Keynote address. This is bullsh*t!:mad:
 
My phone has been sitting in Memphis for the last 2 days, and is now in transit, with a scheduled delivery date of 6/19. I'm crossing my fingers it makes it to my house on the west coast so I can have it tomorrow.

Relax. It really shouldn't be a problem. My package, which was scanned in Ontario at 4:32PM Pacific Time was just updated on the fedex website around 11:30PM. FedEx actually does not guarantee instant tracking updates on their website. Your phone is likely on its way and the information hasn't hit the website yet.
 
Hey Greenstripe. I was in the same boat as you. I pre ordered my phone from apple on tuesday night. Up until about 10 min ago fedex listed as shipping info received but not listing as picked up. Just checked again and it now said it's in transit from ontario, ca heading to where I am in South cal. The funny thing is is that it now lists the phone as picked up from apple at 11am this morning. So basically they are just now updating the tracking info to show that 13 hours later. It's not uncommon for shipping companies to have a lot of lag in their tracking. USPS is notorious for doing that. But anyway check again in the morning, I'm sure you'll get your phone tomorrow!
