Just out of curiosity, anyone tried the 10.2 beta in a powerpc mac?I know it says the minimum requirements are intel core duo,but..it could be false like most of "minimum system requirements" :p
Guess someday I'll try someday too, when exams end.

It would e too good if true. It won’t install. Wrong architecture. :(

I've just upgraded to the latest version of flash, becase mine was painfully slow..... and its made a noticeable difference.

I think it had to do with some old Mac OS X's 2D-Graphics acceleration framework that Flash player used up till version 10.0, or its beta which of course was faster back in the day than its new Tiger'/Leopard counterpart.
Thanks. (Oops, I just quoted you on it!) That's really interesting if correct. The only thing is, updating to 10.0 from earlier versions of flash also made the same big difference to clup penguin. ...Perhaps there was another feature that helps club penguin's homepage that was introduced in Flash 10, and 10.0 happens to be the only version that overlaps these two parts of the framework?? ...Oh, I dunno!

Maybe you could ask these questions in the Adobe thread? The highly knowledgable ppl there would surely help you find an answer. :)

My grief with flash now is that it’s not supporting PPC anymore, especially considering Flash 10.2 support acceleration and all the features that made it work properly on Windows are supposedly now included in the Mac version.
