I don't have a picture, but I am going to throw in Pinky and the Brain and the Animaniacs.

no contest.
Yes!!!! I completely agree. I am only 15 but still apreciate the brilliance of the two. What an awesome TV show... wish they brought it back and showed it on TV.

I'm also surprised that no one has said Charlie Brown ad Snoopy. What great characters they were too.

Ihave never read any of the comics (not a fan of reading them) but the TV shows were always good. Bit of Trivia, Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas was the voice of Sally Brown.

my favorite are:

Modern (today): Foxtrot™, ZIT™ and Calvin and Hobes (retired)! They are awesome! :)

Ancient (retired): Tom and Jerry, Smurfs, and Reboot (computer generated cartoon)

Totally agree...watch it all the time!

Also a second for Pink and the Brain.

Also agreed, It's a very witty show with all the crazy cartoon goodness. Blooregard Q Kazoo, it's such a great name. All the characters are great. I had an imaginary friend (well not really, but that's what I said to people, more of a fictional spawn than a friend) when I was small that basically looked a like Bloo except he was green. But I guess blob like figure are pretty common.

What, no love for Disney stuff?

Ok, seriously though:

Maybe throw in some Bender, or just about any Adult Swim character.

Another Calvin and Hobbes vote here. I grew up reading Calvin and Hobbes, heck, that's how I learned to read. Most of my personality is similar to the character's actually, I was heavily influenced by them after obsessively reading them every day from when I was 4 to 14. My screen-name is hobbes on every site I've registered on with the exclusion of here, and my name on Halo and a few other games has always been Spaceman Spiff (SpcmanSpiff on Halo, stupid 11 character restriction). I've got every published collection, including the Complete bundle as well. I plastered my locker with Calvin and Hobbes strips in high school. I'm a complete addict.

Great call. The last time I saw Danger Mouse was about eight/nine years ago, crashed out on a sofa with a blazing hangover after a friend's 18th birthday party, being feed warm toast by a girl I had major feelings:)D) for. Happy memories!
