Gridlock - alternative to iBlank

Gridlock by chpwn et al. is out!

$0.99 - a simple alternative to iBlank or Iconoclasm,

doesn't allow for dense layout, locks to whatever size column or row you have,

Just another app that does exactly what it says on the tin!

Thanks to the Dev of Gridlock. I paid the 99 cents as it's a fair price for a useful app. Much nicer than iBlank, well worth the premium. I'm happy to support you!

Now if only MyWi's Dev would get the clue and charge a fair price...

Because if I used any custom layout with iconoclasm and not the native templates...All of my lower level folders would open with the view on the bottom side of the icon and only show one or two rows of icons in the folder.

I had to go back to the 4x5 native template and folders worked fine. I do not have a close proximity layout so Gridlock fits the bill to a T

Here is a screen shot. Position 1 and 5 have transparent icons...Weather and Calendar. Positions 3,4,5 are blank. On page two I have positions 1 through 5 blank and do not have to use ANY blanks anymore. I can pick and choose to my hearts content.

what theme is this? and did you have to heavily mod it for the look, or did it come this way? looks amazing.

Does iblank require winterboard? I would like to move the icon to the right on the dock as well but don't want to install winterboard. Is iblank ios4 compatible? Also, does anyone know if SBSimplify work with ios4? I would like to remove the dock as well but if there is a file I could delete through ssh, that would be even better. Thanks for any help.

i blank is it is own seperate app that creates invisible icons so you can space out the springboard

From what I have read aorund the forum from you the folders work better and arent buggy.
Can you please confirm ?

Doesn't mess folders up thankfully....pity the Iconoclasm dev won't fix that!

A few tweaks to enable dense grid with x px spacing would round it off nicely!

This is G.O.C.HD for iPhone4 and is fully setup for the user, you will have to SSH in to set up the weather but that is it. It is a paid theme. I only changed the wallpaper from the original theme and installed Gridlock, 5 Column, 5 Dock. This theme is fully supported and will be constantly upgraded. I am one of beta testers for this theme and forum name is Trist@n

Use gridlock...winterboard is NOT required, one you install it, all you have to do is make the icons wiggle and drag and drop an icon where ever you want. This is a gridlock thread, not a iBlank.

Sorry I forgot to mention I am using gridlock. I mentioned iblank because I wanted to control the position of the icons in the dock as well and gridlock doesn't do this. I figured since someone elase mentioned iblank, it was okay to ask the question but I do apologize for not being clear about me having gridlock as well.
