hey guys, i have a question for all you survivor catalyst owners. i'm currently back to using my lifeproof after returning the incipio atlas. there were many issues i had with the atlas which i will highlight in another post on the atlas thread, however the one thing i loved about it over the lifeproof was that the headphone port cover was attached to the case and my bose ie2s fit without using a headphone adapter. while the lifeproof works great, if you want to listen to headphones i'm forced to use the headphone adapter in order to keep from losing the screw-in port cover and because my headphones won't reach the jack otherwise.

with the survivor catalyst, are you able to use any other headphones besides the apple earpods without using an adapter? specifically the bose ie2s? thanks!

didn't work.

Terrible experience... I went out sailing with the phone in my pocket. it was underwater for les than 30 seconds and it let in so much water is not even funny... the phone still works but the plug has a short, so now i have to hold the cable in an angle to charge it... I used this case 2 times, The first time i used it i noticed some condensation but nothing major, but now my phone is ruined. ( and i followed all the instruction videos posted on the website )

Its a nice case, actually the reviews of this thread helped me decide to buy it. But now i wonder if anybody actually exposed the case to more than 3 drops of water. The speakers work great and i was able to make phone calls with no problem at all, however, i got it cause i needed the waterproofing, which DIDNT WORK.

Im not trying to trash the case or the company, im sure there are more people with better experiences than mine. My advice, ziplock bags work better ( for sound quality, call making and waterproofing. )

BTW

The case comes with a jack adapter so you can screw the thing and use any headphones you like ( i also use the ie2s ) but without this adapter, the hole is too narrow for the L shaped plug.
