Groundhog Day

It was 40°C (104°F) yesterday in Sydney and 47°C (117°F) in western New South Wales.

If we've got 6 more weeks of Summer like this because of that little rodent I'm going to kill him.

And despite the rodent we have six more weeks of this season anyway since Autumn begins this year on March 20th.

I don't mind watching a movie that I've already seen now and then, just not too often. But somehow Groundhog Day is one that I can watch again and again no matter how often it's on TV. I know that seems like a Groundhog Day joke, but it also happens to be true. It's also kind of unusual, since it has very few aliens, spies, bands of clever criminals, or high-tech gadgets (themes I'm likely to favor).
