Seemingly right on queue after we talk about it, the DTM series announced today that they will be bringing the show to the US in 2013. I'm pretty pumped about that. I really like watching the DTM stuff when I get a chance. They always seem to be really exciting races. This is a good start.

And in other GT5 related news, PD released a trailer and more info on the Red Bull X1 prototype car that will be in the game. This is the car that Red Bull Racing and Adrian Newey designed for a with the premise of a no-limits, maximum performance car. It is pretty wild. The video at the end of the trailer shows the car racing, and it almost seems as if the video is sped up by how fast the car is cornering and accelerating. The car-nut in me is just geeking out on the specs and performance of this thing

That is just gorgeous. I like how the tracks have a bit more color than GT4. Everything feels a lot more vibrant and energetic.

The car is cool, but not my style. I'd have more run in an M3.
