Gta v

So went into town this morning to pick up GTA V thinking I wouldn't have any trouble finding a copy, yet it was all sold out everywhere. I swear games publishers are simply artificially distributing the amount of copies in order to make them appear in much greater 'demand'.

All the stores expect more stock Thursday adding to my belief that the distributors are purposely manufacturing the shortage.

So now I must decide, shall I wait till Thursday or just bite the bullet and download it now on PSN ? It's more expensive on PSN but if I factor in the cost of petrol going to town and back to collect it on Thursday it works out the same......

Yeah I just purchased it on PSN, but god only knows when the download will be complete :(


I wasn't that interested in the game until all the reviews began pouring in....

Oh well looks like I'm going to have to do some work instead ... :(:D:eek::)

This is absolutely the best game I've ever played. So intricate. Did my first heist last night and it's every bit as incredible as I hoped it would be.
 
I pre-ordered from Amazon UK as it was much cheaper there than here in Germany. They estimated tomorrow as the delivery date but DHL says it's on the van for delivery right now! I hope you're all enjoying it! I have a friend who left work late morning yesterday and played for just under 15 hours! :eek:

Ah, noch ein Berliner! :)

I order from Amazon UK all the time, too. PS3 Games usually go down to <20€ there just a few months after launch. A little patience can save a lot of money!

A few months is an eternity for a game you want to play, lol. With big games like this its usually longer before the prices settles down, but in general you're right.
 
What does everyone think after a week?
Spoiler free please!

I am trying to savour this game I am 68% complete with another 20 or so main story missions left. Going for 100% completion so need to get everything done.
Trevor is fast becoming my favourite GTA protagonist ever (Tough competition for Claude and Tommy V).
Story is incredible. Has me doubting everything. Everything is just perfect, love it.
 
Finished Story missions last night! Amazing! Frankly gets a tough choice to make. But I'll keep this spoiler-free.

Working on side mission, investing (should've while doing Lester assassinations), working on stealing fighter Jet from military base. And enjoying my Rhino tank :)

Watchdogs is coming to WiiU, the only reason I don't see it coming to the WiiU is the same reason it might not come to PS4/Xbox one (just yet)... and that's "will we make our money back porting it?". Because that is the only reason now why multiplatform games don't go to certain systems.

These are businesses, not fanboys.
 
Got the game today and played 2hours i think. Wow this game is awesome :)

Sadly i have to work tomorrow, retail sucks right :D
 
I seem to be stuck in the story mode and don't know how to get it going again. I stole the sub and a van but nothing else is happening. There is a blue B on the map any also a rampage icon on the map. I've been to both with all three characters and nothing happens. Any advice to get this moving again? The very last mission thing I did was listen to the plan for a heist and I had to pick someway to do it but the kids were noisy and I don't remember any details.

Check your emails and texts, if you stole the sub you also need the big helicopter from the military base, but I can't remember if you have to wait to be told about it (so the icon appears) or whether you can just go get it.

Edit: Also I think you need to give Michael flying lessons.

I regret not listening to stock market tips. I beat the storyline last week and got $34 million for my players. But, I went a bit spend happy with Michael and only got about $2 million left.

Right now I'm trying to manipulate the market by currently buying into FlyUS and blowing up the competition.

Anyone else have good stock market tips?
