What brought them to mind was I saw Spamalot on Saturday starring Tim Curry so it all fits together.
Oh, cool! What did you think of it (he asked, dragging the thread off-topic)? We're not going to be back in New York until June, but hopefully it will still be playing by then.

That would be the first Wayne's World, the first time they're laying on the hood of the Mirthmobile at the airport.

Ok, this thread is officially addictive. I can't stop thinking about movie lines!

Here's a classic:

"He has his father's eyes."

And another memorable exchange:

"Hey, I'm hip."

"Buddy, you sure don't look hip!"

Well done – although with your username I would have been disappointed if you hadn't have got it. ;)
I'm disgusted with myself that I read that quote and totally spaced as to its origin... Alien is one of my top 3 favorite movies.

David Hyde Pierce was incredible. I had expected him to be the least of the 3 but he was probably the best. Sara Rodriguiz who plays the lady of the lake holds her own (which says a lot) She has a magnificent voice and will likely go very far.

There are a bunch of great song and dance numbers. They bring in Always Look on the Bright Side of Life in a way that really works.

It should still be playing then. I saw it in previews and the house was packed. The official opening is this week. I saw an article on Yahoo saying it was probably going to be the big show of the year.

Sport (Harvey Keitel) says that to Travis Bickle (Robert DiNiro) in Taxi Driver

EDIT: Well, actually Travis says the first line to Sport, and the second is Sport's reply

Good call, you are right on. You must know that film as well as I do. Another favorite line of mine that few probably pick up on is when Bickle says "I think I got stomach cancer..."

But "Hot Shots" was incorrect for my first quote ("He has his father's eyes")... Anyone else?

Guess this...

"I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubblegum."
This one's been done twice already in this thread... Nada from They Live. (I grant that it's becoming difficult to know what quotes have already been mentioned, so no biggie.)

Rosemary's Baby... just remembered it after thinking about Addams Family Values.

Actually, "incorrect" is the wrong word. "He has his father's eyes" is definitely in Hot Shots. I don't remember who says it, too lazy to pull out the dvd & check, but right afterword, Charlie Sheen/Topper Harley pulls out a case & opens it up & it has 2 eyeballs in it. :D
It obviously is not the movie you had in mind though.

Yeah, not what I had in mind.... It was actually Rosemary's Baby as clayjohanson just guessed. But I don't doubt you when you say it was also in Hot Shots! :) It's one of those lines that could be from a lot of things I guess...
