Here's a couple more to keep you occupied...

And STILL no one has guessed this one: "You have nowhere to go... you have nowhere to go."
 
How about:

Here's a few from one of my favorite movies:

"You're more than sexy, you're polymorphically perverse."

"You only gave me books with the word 'death' in the title."

"It's 3:00 in the morning, I was a lot more attractive when the night began!"

"Sex with you is really a Kafkaesque experience."

Ok, I could probably recite the damn thing line for line, but I'll stop there.... If you've seen it, you probably won't have too hard a time guessing from all those quotes!

That's funny!! I've never seen this movie, and I've never heard those quotes before, but the first thing I thought to myself when I read them was "that sounds like something from a Woody Allen movie." Damn I'm good :cool: ;)

Ha, good intuition there MattG. Yes, those Woody lines do have a certain "ring" to them that's hard to miss! :)
 
Annie Hall is an awesome movie. Perhaps Woody's finest. So many memorable quotes came from that one movie.

Firestone was a late 60s / early 70s feminist writer...she wrote a relatively famous (among feminists...ah, well, never mind :D) book called The Dialectics of Sex...she uses the term polymorphic perversity in that book quite a bit. Her idea is something along the line that people, given ultimate levels of tolerance and sexual freedom, would predominantly choose to engage in a wide variety of sexual liaisons, rather than hold rigidly to a sexual orientation....

Very idealist, very hippy, but I think it's my favorite feminist book ever....

Hmmm, sounds very interesting, thanks for enlightening me! I will have to check that out. And here I always thought that the term was simply something Woody (or Alvie Singer, rather) came up with himself.
