Yeah, it's Mugatu.

New quote to guess: "And the monkey flips the switch."

Is it flips the switch or presses the button? Not sure, but its from Lost in Space - Matt LeBlanc.

how about "This is great. Usually it's just cardboard walls in a garage."

How about this one (no clues, it's too easy):

"You see, in this world there's two kinds of people, my friend: those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig."

I guess so - I should have posted it in Italian .

You never know though, there's a lot of young whipper-snappers on here that might not know their classics as well as you :D.

Wow. Suprised nobody got my first one yet...

"You're wearing my hat..."

Its from Silverado! :D

the following is part of an exchange between two lawyers (and that's the only other hint):

B: Your Honor, I am willing to sit here and endure Mr. D's sneering and his disrespect, for he is pleading the case for the prosecution by his contempt for all that is holy.

D: I object! I object! I object!!

B: On what grounds?! Is is possible that something is holy to the celebrated agnostic?

D: Yes. The individual human mind…. An idea is a greater monument than a cathedral. And the advance of man's knowledge is a greater miracle than all the sticks turned to snakes or the parting of the waters....

Can't say I can place which version it is from, whether the movie with Spencer Tracy, or the later television version with Robards and Douglas, or from the original play - Inherit the Wind.

Best line from that play - "God made man in his own image, and man, being a gentleman, returned the favor."

How about this one:
"Crucifixion's a dawdle"

I was actually thinking of something else.. here are some other quotes from that movie:

  • I think we can save your husband's arm. Where would you like it sent?
  • Guy:Almost as interesting as the photographs I saw today.
Girl:I was young. I needed the work.
  • He's in the intensive care ward at Our Lady of the Worthless Miracle.

5) "They were termites, or dalmations or something..."
3 and 4 are Todd Graff, aka "Hippy", from The Abyss.

1. "He hates these cans!"
Someone else has already identified this as one of Steve Martin's lines from The Jerk (when the crazed gunman is shooting at him at the gas station).

2. "Somebody help me, I'm being spontaneous!"
This sounds like one of the lines that Kevin (played Macauley Culkin) says in Home Alone, but I think the line begins, "Somebody stop me...". Unless of course it's from a different movie.

I know that Leslie Nielsen is the one who says the last line, so it's either from one of the Airplane! or Naked Gun movies (but not sure which one).

tough one to write out

phone rings. characters have dialogue exchange. phone rings again. more character exchange. phone continues to ring. Finally one of the characters reluctantly answers...

"Helloit'sforyou".

Sets phone down on counter.
