I'm expecting delivery of a gold iPad Air 2 tomorrow too, very excited! I had the first iPad and finally upgraded to an iPad 2 but haven't had one since - I think I will notice a difference :D

Being in the UK where everything is more expensive, I had to pay £49 up front and £38 per month for 2 years but that does include 15gb of data.

Your new iPad Air 2 is going to be thinner and lighter, you'll love it.

And that's why iPad sales are in decline. Apple has used most of it's tricks on the iPad. For me thinner and lighter is not a selling feature or benefit. After 5 years on the market the iPad needs to offer more than just thin and lighter.

Thinner and lighter means the device will be more comfortable to use, and that is a huge selling point. Have you ever tried holding up an iPad with Retina display (iPad 4) for an extended period of time? I have and I much prefer the iPad Air 2. Word of mouth is powerful advertising.

Frankly, I couldn't care less about sales numbers, those numbers change depending on whether you're the seller or a competitor. I buy a product because it works for me.

I don't buy thinner and lighter as a huge selling point unless you are Gandhi. I happen to own an iPad 3 and the weight is NO big deal but I'm glad your purchase fits your needs.
