Hello! I just started the Windows Gaming on a Mac FAQ. Find it here:
http://guides.macrumors.com/Windows_Gaming_on_a_Mac_FAQ

It seems like that there is a limit on the amount of content that can be added to an individual page. I looked through the help guide, but don't see what I need.

I'm taking a block of text from a text edit document. When I try to copy and paste it into the MacRumors Guide, it does not appear. This is after I've all ready added a lot of text, hence the "cap" question.

Can someone verify that the amount of text on a page has a cap? And if it does, how do you get around it. Can you add related pages?
Thanks!

Hmm... that page is so huge it could almost be it's own category let alone a page. I can seem to add text to that page with no fuss. There might be a cap, but it doesn't appear to be reached yet. You can add a "See Also" section at the end of the page and just link between guides. Just put a * for the bullet point and [[ ]] for the guide you want to link to. E.g. *[[MacBook]].

Also, you might want to make the article more formal, as in it's current state it's more of a giant forum post than a guide. Finally, you have a lot of references to your name and what you own etc. in the article. Now while I think MR should be slapped on the wrist for not really recognising the hard work of some of the editors (like yourself), this doesn't really add anything useful to the article.

Blizzard,
Thanks for the advice! :) I am using Safari so I don't know what it's limits are, but I have seen paste limits in Firefox before, but not in Safari.

Turns out I was trying to paste a blurb of text with some "funny" icons in it. Icons I did not first notice or realize they would cause problems. Safari would not accept them. Problem solved.

Can I remind you that internal guide links should be done with just the page name and double ['s (i.e [[)

Also I think have 2 parts is more confusing than 1 big part. Thoughts?

I think the troubleshooting sections should be spun off to their own pages. That way it can be consolidated down to a single page.

I think that would be the way forward. I don't have time myself to implement it though

I have nothing against 1 big part. I was splitting my guide because the MacRumors interface was giving me messages that my guide was too big for one browser page. But I've been told by the local powers to ignore the message. :D
