Now, That design, I like! Imagine being that thin, and if it had thin bezels to match it would look like a nice redesign
Apple really has to make it REAL REAL thin in order to justify not putting an SD card reader and a USB-A port. The versatility a computer looses when not having these two essential ports makes me sad because of how arbitrary and absurd it is. I say they are essential ports not because you might need them all the time but because you need them when everybody is sharing fotos or documents with much cheaper computers and there you are with your twice as expensive computer without being able to quickly import a few big photos or simply the whole content from a USB pen.

And no, I do not want to always carry on my dongle.

We need the Mac mini with M1 Pro and M1 Max ASAP please.
Totally agree. M1 Max on Mac Mini. A machine that could deal with real-time original 4K footage in a 3 track multicam project (on FCP at least) + two separate audio tracks. And the whole thing for less than $5000 while being able to work on summer time (32º) without overheating the machine. And full-resolution audio directly from the headphone jack.
And an SD card reader. And one or two USB-A port (why not). And of course, as always, almost no fan noise.
Well, I'm waiting.
