Apple plans to release new iPad Pro and iPad Air models "around the end of March or in April," according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. He also expects new Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil accessories for iPads to launch simultaneously.

Apple is expected to release a larger 12.9-inch iPad Air

In his Power On newsletter on Sunday, Gurman reiterated that Apple is preparing a special build of the already-released iPadOS 17.4 update for the new iPads:
Apple is preparing to launch revamped iPad Pros, new iPad Airs (including a 12.9-inch version), a Magic Keyboard and upgraded Apple Pencil. Look for that new hardware around the end of March or in April, as that's when the accompanying iPadOS 17.4 software should be ready to go.
The following iPad-related announcements are expected in the March-April window:Gurman previously ruled out an Apple Event for the new iPads. Instead, the devices will likely be announced in a press release on the Apple Newsroom website, like the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models with the M3 chip were last week.

The only thing I want to know is how much lighter the new 13-inch iPad Pro will be. If the weight savings are major (in other words, noticeably lighter than the new 12.9 iPad Air), I’ll consider it. Otherwise, I’ll stick with the Airs. Frankly, all of the iPads other than the Mini could use a diet.

No love for the Mini ? ?
Also wondering when.
Launching new mini this year when mini 5 with A12 has 2 years of ipadOS support ahead, is not going to persuade mini 5 users. In my opinion. I would say next year. Or some mini 7 with traditionally huge number of minor to useless differences to mini 6 advertised as huge leap forward of mini 5. Lol.
Yes of course i know, i have conflict of interests here, the mini 5 i am using runs flawlessly. Display technology upgrade on the mini may change my mind.

People say believe half of what you see, son and none of what you hear
But I can't help being confused, if it's true please tell me dear
Oh I heard Gurman online and now I'm just about to lose my mind
honey honey oh yeah

If April, it won't be so bad to wait 2 more months until the June Back-To-School sale. That's my plan... for an entry level 11"+ OLED iPad Pro with 256 GB storage and 8 GB RAM, at the price of the current 256 GB / 8 GB:

Edu CA$1159 / US$849
Retail CA$1229 / US$899

Does he not care about the mini, or is it such a minor change they can’t tell because of supply chain differences?

All I want is a refreshed Mini, I’d like a Mini Pro though, but will just take a refreshed one. Don’t want to buy an already 2.5 year old device for the same old $100 discount. Give me $200 off and I might consider it…
