Guys and the 6s plus

Had the 6+ from launch and although I had initial concerns, found it to be fine.
It fits in my front pocket of all my trousers.
I wear dress trousers to work and jeans or cargo trousers in the evening. No problems at all.
On the rare occasion I pick up a regular size iPhone, they do feel awkward and small though.
I'll pick up a 7+ at launch no doubt.

I have a 6s Plus. I wear either slim fitting jeans or slim fitting suit pants everyday and have no issues. I occasionally put it in my backpocket for quicker access, as side pockets is more of a peeling out than sliding out. Quick access matters less to me with my Watch. The only clothing I have an issue win is some basketball shorts, but the 6s doesn't do much better there.

I have the mophie battery on my 6S+.
No issues other than if I am in the bathroom and forget the phone is in my pocket when I undo my pants.
Front and back pockets in dockers, levis, or suit pants have not issues.

That doesn't help those that work in professional environments.
I've carried my 6+ in my pocket even when wearing a suit, so I would think it shouldn't be much of an issue in professional work environments. I've often even carried two since my wife has the 6+ also and doesn't always like to carry a purse around to put it in, so it ends up going in my pocket.

Now we all agree that the Plus models will fit in most jeans pockets.
But the question you should rather ask is how ridiculous it looks and how uncomfortably it feels when sitting down for example.

Why would you sit down with your phone in your pocket?

I put mine down somewhere, whether it's in a business card holder on my desk or nightstand at home and at work, a compartment in my car while driving, or any convenient flat but safe surface.

I've had phones much smaller than my 6s+ as well and I've never sat down with them in my pocket.

You can sit with it fine. But yes mostly its on my desk or in my hand.

In my personal experience, I cannot sit down with the plus sized iPhone in my jeans pocket. It jabs into my upper thigh-side. I can't speak for dressier pants for chinos.

I'm a guy. 5' 10", 32 size waist. I don't wear tight pants, but I wear them fitted. YMMV.

Oh wow, yeah okay that's good for you. At the first glance I honestly thought your question is rhetorical, because I sit down with the phone in my pocket all the time.

Examples:
- at University
- in public transport/trains/subways/planes
- in my car (it would really annoy me if I had to put it somewhere just for a 5-minute-drive to the mall)
- in restaurants/bars
- cycling

Just to name a few. Thus I will never buy a Plus model and would never recommend it to anybody who lives an active life and wants to put the phone in his pocket.

My 6+ fits in my pocket just fine. I take it out of my pocket when I sit down, but I've done this with every phone I've ever owned. In my car it goes in the cupholder. At home it goes on my nightstand. At work it sits on my desk unless it goes with me to a meeting, and then it sits next to my notepad on the table during the meeting.

Everyone is different I guess.

Home: Either in business card holder at computer desk, business card holder on nightstand, or on couch next to me if I sit there. Those three places.

Work: Business card holder directly in front of me on my desk. No place else. I have one person I work with who is a walking accident waiting to happen and so I make no exceptions to my rule because this particular spot is unlikely to be in that person's path.

Car(s): Dash console right in front of gear shift lever. In my Honda is sits on top of a leather sleeve. I don't care if I am driving less than five minutes this is where my phone goes. Period. It's a $600+ phone.

Restaurants/Starbucks. On the table.

I will admit that outside of home/work/car there are some slight deviations where my phone stays in my pocket. This is simply out of space consideration (where to put my phone in a movie theater) mainly. But cargo pants are my main pants and the pocket is on the side. If I was in normal pants the phone would sit on my lap in my hand.

PS. Work, home, or car is where 95% of my time is spent. I do cycle sometimes and that's when my iPhone 5 goes in a fanny pack. I don't take my 6s+ on those excursions.

I'm a bigger guy with a 6S Plus and I love that phone. I'm nearsighted and I have big hands and the regular iPhone 6s feels tiny, let alone an SE. The keyboard and screen size of the 6S Plus sold me, let alone the camera and battery benefits.

I have no trouble fitting it into jeans with a pocket with a snap on it. Otherwise it's either on a table, in a dock, or in my hands.

I can (barely) fit my iPad mini in almost all of my pockets. Definitely not comfortable, but if an iPad mini can fit, the iPhone Plus shouldn't be an issue for most people.

But I don't wear tight clothing.

Well if you're talking about the carrying process, it fits perfectly fine in my pockets although I wear skinny jeans. It may be uncomfortable when you're bending over or idk, but while sitting it's not that bad, you get used to it (I have the 6s Plus & had the 6plus so I'm used to the size I guess). Of course there are situations where you better get it off your pocket, it's a phablet after all. But the battery & screen are so amazing that it'll make you overpass the drawbacks.

If you're talking about the fact that you're a guy & for some reason you think It's more for woman then idk what to tell you. Get what you think is the most beneficial for you..

I Sold my 6s plus and now I have a 6 and a SE

The SE is my main phone.

When I first got the 6S plus I was extremely impressed by it but as the days went it became a nagging monster. It needed constant attention in terms of fitting my trouser pocket, adjustments required in my pocket when sitting down, careful handling when making calls and texting. When I was at home it was a pleasure to use but outside I hated using it.

The SE is great to use. It’s small, fast and very efficient.

I had iPhone 6S plus for about two weeks and eventually returned and got an iPhone 6S. The biggest challenge for me is I spend about 2 hrs everyday in the gym or outside biking/running. With a phone that size is just extremely inconvenient.

Another thing is all of my suits are tailored and very fit, 6S Plus is simply too heavy, if I put it inside of my jacket, it pulls that side down and it just looks ridiculous.

I would say other than these two drawbacks, it's a great phone. I miss it a lot.
