It looks very nice, but hair is fickle. A new style will only last you two to three weeks. Then it will be unruly again and you'll have to get it cut. I know you like it (and I think it looks good too) but short hair can look good and is much easier to manage.

I would go a half inch on the sides and two and a half inches on top and in the front. Shave the back.
