Seriously though there will eventually be a lot of threads in the coming months saying the Milanese won't stop pulling my arm hair. If it happened to me, it will happen to others.

Once the band pulls out all of the arm hairs, problem solved.

it does that to me too. still considering returning it and then getting a third party band.

True!

My Milanese Loop band pinched a few arm hairs the first couple days. After than it's been perfectly comfortable. And if my arm is any less hairy (and it is hairy), I can't notice the difference by looking. Must have had just a few long ones poking out at a bad angle.

The ML pulled my hair like no other. I gave it a chance for about 5 days then switched to the LL and then picked up the SS link bracelet and that doesn't pull my hair at all. But I gave the ML a fair chance and it just wouldn't stop and was very painful actually. Good luck to everyone else with the ML hope it doesn't pull your hair because it sure is beautiful

i would do what you did but the next step up is the LL for 249 and then 449. if the ML doesn't work, should i consider third party bands?

The leather loop is 150$ I believe, not 250$; And to be honest to me the LL is absolutely worth 150$. It's comfortable, sporty, casual, and can be pulled off semi formal as well in my opinion. It's an amazing band I love it. If you want more of a dressy look I would take the Milanese loop and swap it in for a trade for the SS link bracelet and pay the 300$ difference and just keep that one for now then buy the 3rd party leather loop band for under 50$ which I believe are getting great reviews so far. Just a thought!!

Either way good luck with it!

i don't think the SS link is worth 300. I'm not going to spend 1k on an smart watch especially a 1st gen apple watch. but yeah if the ll is 150 ill get it. but I'm going to try out the ML for a couple of more days but isnt HOCO making a SS link bracelet of their own?

the thing is that my parents wanted me to get the SS link bracelet but its just expensive don't you think?

I have the Milanese Loop band on my Sport Watch and have had no problems at all. One of my friends has it also and he told me that he has had no problems.

My only problem with it is when I work out and the band wants to pull slightly loose. Sometimes loose enough to cause the HR monitor not to function correctly. A slight tug to tighten it and I'm good to go again.

I have average hairy arms, and I tried on the Milanese for the hell of it this morning. It looked nice and felt nice to the touch, but the moment I put it on my wrist, it was pulling and pinching hairs left and right. To give you an idea of how hairy my wrists are...
Hairy arms? Really? I know a good number of women that have more hair on their arms than you.

For some reason the ML looks kind of girly to me. I don't think it belongs on a hairy arm to begin with. Problem solved.

I've had the SS link bracelet for about 3-4 weeks now and my honest opinion is that it is worth it. I only say this because of how intricate and smooth the metal looks. It looks like some kind of poured exoskeleton metal out of a sci-fi movie. I love engineering like this and I find myself just taking the band off when I'm sitting randomly and just looking at it. It amazes me how well it's built and how it pans into the the watch. It just makes the watch look worth more than what I paid for it. And all of the complements I've been getting prove to me that one point.

Many others don't think it's worth it but I have many other watches worth more and to me I can justify the cost of the SS link bracelet. I say you give it a try and I can pretty much garauntee that if you're a sucker for beautiful watches and engineering you will not be disappointed one bit. GOODLUCKKK!!

What kind of Brazilian trannys do you hang out with?

Pic doesn't give it justice. I have blonde arm hair that doesn't show up well in photos. Only the dark hairs are visible in photos.

The ML is pulling the hell out of my arm hair. I'm about to take a trimmer to my wrist. #realtalk #thisbandwasexpensive

I have really hairy arms... but haven't had an issue with the Milanese loop. When I first put it on in the morning it may grab a few, but after it's settled I never feel it again all day.

I wonder if it's because I wear it kind of tight so it won't slide around (that's how I wear all of my watch bands).

I purchased the HOCO SS link and it's really nice and comfortable. I also have hair arms and there isn't / wasn't any hair pulling.

As many grown men I have a fair amount of hair on my arms. My Milanese doesn't seem to pull at hairs at all... I mean, how could it, it weighs a few grams. Not much pulling power in that kinda weight, if the watch is kept reasonably snug on the arm.
