Wow  :D

http://kotaku.com/gaming/un****ingb...oftware-chart-where-halo-3-does-ok-306918.php

This is major on several levels.

1) It's a 360 game in the one region the system is doing terrible
2) It's a FPS in a land of RPG fans
3) It beat out Pokemon AND FF7 Crisis Core

This could help turn things around for Microsoft especially going into the holidays where more sales will surely come.

Not to mention:

1. An American Game
2. An American System

Japanese gamers tend to shy well away from any game or system not their own.

I've always been a big fan of our own games/systems (they've got good ones too, though). I almost fainted when I read this news.

Sony is replying though with their new $399 PS3...

sorry to ring this thread back up but the numbers of the next week are up and as predicted halo 3 dropped ...

jup Halo 3 not even in the top 30

Also, to note - It didn't really beat Pokemon. Due to the fact that nintendo releases the same game under two different titles, it shows up higher on the list, but sold less copies than the two combined.

It gives me a glimmer of hope that Brain Training ranked higher than Halo 3.
